Addiction Treatment and Recovery

Drug Testing

Drug and alcohol testing is available to screen for the presence of mood altering drugs. Testing is used as a therapeutic tool in the maintenance of continuous sobriety.

12-Step/Self Help

This program recognizes the absolute need for incorporating active Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Cocaine Anonymous or Gamblers Anonymous involvement in successful recovery. In addition to attendance during treatment, each person is expected to attend a minimum of two appropriate 12-step meetings weekly after completing treatment.

Attendance

Participants are expected to attend all sessions as scheduled and to be on time. Unexcused absences could result in termination from the program.

Family Participation

Family members and significant others may be invited to participate in family sessions during treatment and/or to attend any one of the 12-step support groups.

Groups

Realizing the divergence of issues associated with addiction problems, it is in the best interest of the clients to have separate groups for women and men. Our adolescent group is co-ed to better meet the needs of this age group. Currently, we have the following:

• Evening Men’s Group 6 p.m.-9 p.m.
• Afternoon Women’s Group 4 p.m.-7 p.m.
• Evening Adolescent Group 5 p.m.-8 p.m.

Individual counseling may be offered to clients who struggle with group issues or to work on relapse prevention.
